Guide: CTA Best Practices (2025)
What is a CTA? A call to action (CTA) is any point on your website, newsletters, emails, or other platforms that signals a user to take action, like “subscribe” or “donate.”
Everything from a pop-up to a button at the top of your site to something buried in the footer of an email can be a call to action.
Why does it matter? CTAs are tools to move readers through your funnel: readers find your site → sign up for your newsletter → support your organization.
