Our 990 isn't ready yet. What do I submit to verify my organization's expenses?

Organizations with budgets under $1 million in 2025 are asked to submit one form of verification to show total operating expenses:

• A published annual report with reported operating expense totals in the calendar year 2025
• A brief letter from your Executive Director, CEO, board chair, or founder providing assurances of the values reported
• Your organization’s 990 form for 2025

If your organization's 990 isn't ready yet, that's totally fine, just submit one of the other two approved forms of verification.
