When will I know if my application is approved?

The application is your way of telling us that you plan on participating in the campaign. We require organizations to apply so that we have a clear number of participants to effectively forecast funding.

As long as you’re a U.S.-based INN newsroom that became a member-in-good-standing by December 2025, you won’t be turned away from NewsMatch. You'll hear back from the NewsMatch team by the end of May, confirming your participation and next steps!
