Who can participate in NewsMatch?

NewsMatch is open to nonprofit news organizations active members of the Institute for Nonprofit News (INN). Standards for INN membership can be found here.

While only active INN members can participate in NewsMatch, you may still apply as a provisional member or if your organization is pending approval. The deadline to apply for INN membership in order to apply for NewsMatch 2023 was April, 1 2024. If you're interested in participating in NewsMatch 2025, apply for membership now.

The deadline for existing members to renew their membership to INN in time to apply for NewsMatch was June 30, 2024. For questions about your member status, please contact membership@inn.org.
