Who is behind NewsMatch?
NewsMatch is a collaborative effort between newsrooms, funders, and journalism service organizations.
The program is managed by the Institute for Nonprofit News (INN), a nationwide network of more than 500 independent, nonprofit, nonpartisan news organizations. In addition to coordinating the program, INN also provides training resources and support to participating organizations.
NewsMatch is supported through the Fund for Nonprofit News, an open collaborative fund at The Miami Foundation. The Foundation oversees the fiscal administration of NewsMatch funds and oversees the application and reporting process for NewsMatch.
News Revenue Hub serves as a key learning partner that creates a series of time-saving resources and learning resources to help newsrooms run a successful year-end campaign.
